Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what data Toolmetri collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
1. How Our Tools Handle Your Data
Most tools on Toolmetri — including the QR Generator, Barcode Studio, Password Generator, Case Converter, Morse Cipher, Word Counter, JSON Formatter, Base64 Encoder, image tools, and the Stylish Text Generator — run entirely inside your browser. The text, images, or files you enter into these tools are processed on your own device and are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere.
Two tools work differently and do send a request to an external service in order to function: the Currency Converter retrieves live exchange rates from exchangerate-api.com, and the IP Lookup tool retrieves your public IP and general location from geojs.io. In both cases, only the minimal request needed to return a result is sent — we do not log, store, or attach these requests to your identity.
2. Cookies and Advertising
To keep Toolmetri free to use, we display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or by visiting aboutads.info to opt out of participating vendors generally. You can also block cookies entirely through your browser's settings, though this may affect how ads and some site features behave.
For more detail on how Google uses data, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand overall site traffic — for example, which pages are visited and roughly how many people use the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. Children's Privacy
Toolmetri is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Toolmetri after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
6. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, reach out via our Contact page.
